Squeeze Point was founded in October of 1997. The original lineup was Steve
(formerly of Below Average) on vocals and guitar, Reed on bass, and Nick
(formerly of Ninth Division) on drums. Things weren't working out with Reed,
so in March of 1998 he was replaced by Greg. Around that same time, Jackie Ames joined
as a second guitarist. In August of 1999 Greg left for Clarion University in northern PA,
so he was replaced by Justin. Jackie quit the band in May of 2000 and for about a year
and a half we remained a 3-piece. In early 2002, Dough joined as a second guitarist, and
we've had the current lineup since then.
